Spirit of 1776

More Than

a Movement.

✦ ✦ ✦

Preserving human integrity into the future.

In an era where many of the systems upon which people depend no longer reliably reflect or protect their ability to live freely and fully, we are working to reclaim the foundations of coherent community life.

The Problem

America is experiencing a crisis of institutional failure.

Communities, churches, schools, and civic organizations no longer provide families the support, trust, and self-governance they once did.

Most Americans know something is broken. Few believe another election, lawsuit, or policy campaign will fix it.

We agree.

The answer is not merely political. It is institutional.

The Solution

Inspired by the principles of 1776, we are building the institutions, communities, and civic structures needed for free people to thrive — now and into the future — grounded in the preservation of human integrity.

We are restoring the pillars of community life — trust, shared purpose, and mutual responsibility — so people can find what has been lost: a common decentralized foundation from which to build and live together.

We are assembling the first generation of signatories committed to helping establish the institutions, communities, and systems required for a free people to flourish in the decades ahead.

Many organizations seek influence.
We intend to build decentralized systems with integrity.
Many organizations mobilize people around issues.
We are organizing people around values.

This is not another activist organization.

This is what comes next.

We have drafted a founding charter — The Inviolable Person — declaring the rights of natural persons across body, mind, soul, genome, data, and place. Rights that do not stop at the water’s edge, the server, or the atmosphere.
